NES has appointed Simulation Leads to join the four already established posts for Core Surgical Training, Internal Medical Training, General Surgery and Core Psychiatry. The remit of theses Leads is to work alongside the Clinical Skills Managed Educational Network to develop national specialty-specific simulation training programmes. These specialties include higher surgical specialties, anaesthetics, emergency medicine, intensive care, diagnostic specialties and paediatrics.
