What is the Healthcare Skills and Simulation Collaborative?
The Healthcare Skills and Simulation Collaborative (HSSC) supports skills, education and training for all health and social care practitioners in West of Scotland.
Following the decommissioning of the NHS Louisa Jordan, the Lead of the National Skills Education Hub, Professor Jean Ker, handed over the baton to a newly formed collaborative named the Healthcare Skills and Simulation Collaborative.
The HSSC aims to provide similar clinical skills and immersive sim pods across various venues in Scotland including:
- Glasgow Royal Infirmary
- Royal Alexandra Hospital
- Vale of Leven Hospital
- Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel
- Kirklands Hospital
- CSMEN Mobile Skills Unit
