For the Mobile Skills Unit to work effectively, it needs to be in partnership between the Clinical Skills Managed Educational Network, local venues and the health boards responsible for staff development.
A suitable venue needs to be identified along with a suitable host to take responsibility for the MSU when it arrives.
Booking the MSU
Once you have identified a suitable venue and MSU Host please look at the MSU Calendar to check available dates then please contact Lynn Hardie the MSU Senior Officer lynn.hardie@nhs.scot to request a booking. You will then be sent a booking form to be completed and returned to Lynn Hardie to confirm your MSU booking.
NHS Education for Scotland fund the Mobile Skills Unit and the logistics of transporting the Unit. However, the project does not have a budget for consumables or back-filling staff. Staff costs incurred in using the Unit need to be met locally.
