We are pleased to publish the Simulation Resources in Scotland Report and the associated Excel files with equipment and course information.
The Simulation Resources in Scotland Report was commissioned by the NES Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) directorate to create an overview of the current state of play in terms of networks, people and resources (equipment and courses) in simulation based learning (SBL) across Scotland.
This scoping exercise was undertaken to determine the current resources available in the Scottish territorial health boards and is seen as a first step to providing a detailed inventory of the skills available to help ensure best value for money.
It is a live document and the expectation is that there will be equipment and courses to be added and the lists refined. We know we do not have all the data. If you would like to contribute or if you have any thoughts about how we might improve the report please do not hesitate to contact us (csmen@nes.scot.nhs.uk).
