To access the Tracked Learning do I need a TURAS login?

Yes you need to sign in to TURAS Learn to access the Tracked Learning units.  If you don't have a TURAS account and you are NHS Scotland health and social care staff you can register to get access to TURAS Learn by going to the home page and clicking on "Register".

How do I download the PDFs?

We recommend the PDFs are downloaded to your computer or opened in Acrobat for best functionality.

To download:

• Click on the link to open the PDF, it will open in a separate tab in your web browser
• Hover your cursor near the top right of the PDF and a row of small icons will appear
• Click on the "underlined downward arrow"
• A "Save As" box will appear, save the PDF to your computer and it will open up automatically 

 

To open in Acrobat:

• Click on the link to open the PDF, it will open in a separate tab in your web browser
• A small prompt box will appear near the top right of the PDF
• Click on "Open in Acrobat"
• The PDF will open in Acrobat on your computer

How do I get the links to open in a separate tab in the PDFs?

We recommend you always download the PDFs to your computer or open in Acrobat, this ensures all functionality on the PDF works effectively i.e. navigation arrows and links.

If you have opened the PDF in your web browser, you should open the links in a separate tab by following the instructions below: 

• Hover over the link, hold down the CTRL key then left click on your mouse 
• The link will open in a new tab in your web browser
• Click back to the original tab to continue with the skills unit

How do I navigate back from a link in the PDF?

If you have the PDF open in your web browser, always open links in a separate tab by pressing the CTRL key and left click on your mouse.  This will ensure you can return to your place in the PDF by clicking back to the original tab.

How do I access a Contents Page on the PDFs?

After downloading the PDF you will be able to access the Contents Page by following the instructions below:

• Hover your cursor near the left of the PDF
• A column of small icons will appear
• Click on the bookmark icon and a list of contents will appear on the left of the PDF

How do I report a problem?
