Facilities
The Unit is equipped with a wide range of simulation equipment, including SimMan, and SimBaby.
To enable video recording and debriefing, the smots(tm) audio-visual system has been installed. Three smots(tm) cameras are fixed in the Unit, and a fourth mobile camera is also available to allow recording in real-ward situations. The Unit can then be used to debrief from that camera. A control room is separated from the main classroom area by a one way mirror, in front of which rises the screen for delivering PowerPoint presentations/videos. The control room houses the computer equipment to run scenarios.
